During each quick and relatively painless treatment session, the JUVÉDERM® gel is injected through a thin needle into specific areas of the face, depending on what areas we're targeting. The HA gel increases the volume of tissue lying directly beneath the skin, filling in wrinkles and volume from within. Our proven techniques ensure this process is as comfortable as possible.
Depending on the extent of your treatment, most sessions last about 30 minutes to an hour. After your appointment, you can go about your day as usual — no downtime is required.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR JUVÉDERM®?
The best JUVÉDERM® candidates are those who are at least 18 years old, physically healthy and not pregnant or nursing. JUVÉDERM® could be right for you if you are seeking to reduce the appearance of certain facial lines and wrinkles, like smile lines, marionette lines and vertical lines along your lips, or if you want to add volume to the lips, cheeks or chin area.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?

DOES IT HURT AND WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?
We use a topical numbing cream before injecting the JUVÉDERM® filler to ensure the pain associated with the injections is minimal to none. Some patients report that being injected with filler feels like a slight pinch.
HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT?
The entire procedure may take as little as 30 minutes or as long as an hour, depending on the number of areas being treated.
IS THERE ANY SOWNTIME?
There is no downtime after your JUVÉDERM® procedure, and you can return to your daily routine right away. Some patients experience mild redness, swelling or bruising, which usually resolves within a day or two.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT RESULTS?
The results of JUVÉDERM® can be seen almost immediately after your first treatment session.
ARE THE RESULTS PERMANENT?
JUVÉDERM® results are not permanent and vary from person to person depending on the filler used. On average, treatment typically lasts about 12 to 18 months before a repeat injection is needed.
HOW MUCH DOES JUVÉDERM® FILLER TREATMENT COST AT SōNA MEDSPA?
JUVÉDERM® is priced per syringe. Our patients can expect to pay an average of $650 to $800 or more for each syringe. Discounted pricing may be applied to the second and third syringes. The number of syringes required to achieve your goals depends on the area treated and the desired correction. Based on your individual goals, we may suggest multiple syringes.
